Contracts / Claims Manager - Infrastructure - Turkey (Northern Coast) - Negotiable depending on experience

Requirements

15~20 years of relevant experiences
Fluency in English and Turkish
Knowledge of FIDIC contracts and experience of working under FIDIC Red, Yellow, Silver and White Book (relevant certification is preferred, such as IACCM)
Participate in and support contract preparation and negotiations. Undertake a legal review of contracts as required by the management team and work with legal counsel where necessary.
Review subcontractors' agreements, including prequalification, tender/bids, and commercial contracts ad use designated contract management tools, templates, methods, ad processes.
Ability to write clear and precise reports and to relate complex information in a simple way to diverse range of people.
Experience in contract management and claim in relation with KGM road project and Public Private Partnership (PPP)
Familiarity and ability to comply with all applicable rules, regulations, best practices, and performance standards.
Ensure all related activities within scope are conducted in compliance with the project standards in terms of quality, cost & time.
Organizational, planning, analytical and problem-solving skills, and will also possess superior attention to detail communication and relationship management skills.
Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in working style to better respond to multiple request/tasks and handle sudden changes in priorities.
Attitude for working collaboratively with multiple disciplines within teams and projects

Job Description/Duties
My client is a well known international EPC contractor with a proven track record for delivering major projects around the globe. They require a Contract Manager to join a major road and bridge project in Northern Turkey.

Duties include;
Prepare and review contract agreement, including tender document, contracts and agreements for all aspects for the project, including main contracts, consulting and partnership agreements, subcontracts, supply and purchase order agreements, and employment contracts; and ensure all contracts are designed to limit the company's liability exposure.
Monitor commercial and contractual risks of the project and guide dispute resolution process, if any.
Conduct contractual review meeting and negotiations with 3rd parties before contract signature as well as follow-up on variation/change orders and claims during project execution.
Undertake all aspects of claim management including claim preparation (extension of time and/or additional cost), counterclaim review, preparing and/or reviewing variation/change orders, developing claim/variation/change orders strategies, assistance during DAB procedures and amicable settlement, issuing contractual letters and notifications, and all other aspects of dispute resolution.
Communicate effectively with Line Manager and other project participants to provide required assistance and support.
